AnimeAt some point I stopped being a fan of anime; fanatic about it, that is. I never went cold turkey, and my subsequent, occasional forays over the past few years have been tolerated by my wife with good humor and a nice slice of perspective, which I appreciate.
But now my oldest daughter is 14, and she's seen all of the anime I have (that I feel comfortable showing her), and since she's got 1000^10 access to different types of anime that I never had thanks to TEH INTERNETS, she's seen a bunch of stuff that she's not sure SHE feels I can handle (entropy is knocking on my door apparently), but she's given me the bug again.
I've had a few days off that I've used a good portion of to get reacquainted with some old favorites, and to check out a few new titles. The magic is still there - I've failed, in some fundamental way, to grow up. Go figure.
